SLS South Beach hotel sells for $125 million

A company affiliated with Los Angeles-based investment real estate company CIM Group sold the SLS South Beach for $125 million this week. The seller of the 140-room hotel is a group called 1701 Collins Miami Owner. The buyer is similarly calling itself 1701 Miami Owner. It is a company affiliated with Daniel Tain and Marco Ferri, based in Saint Peter Port, Guernsey, an island in the English Channel off the coast of Normandy.
