Boynton Beach businessman faces 20 years for a $4M commodities fraud

A co-founder of Fort Lauderdale-based Liberty International Financial Services pled guilty to participating in a $4 million commodities fraud scheme Wednesday. Boynton Beach resident Jeffrey Schuler, 54, pled guilty to one count of wire fraud. Schuler’s sentencing hearing is scheduled for late August and he faces up to 20 years in prison. Schuler co-founded Liberty International in 2010 with Christopher Anzalone, who has pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud. Liberty…
