Weston-based Florida Community Bank has applied to close three bank branches throughout South Florida, which at first seems counter to the bank’s mission of expanding their branch footprint.
The closings of the bank’s Hialeah, Little Havana and Wilton Manors branches are however part of an overall strategy to optimize and increase presence on Florida’s east coast by choosing the right locations.
