Fisher Island Holdings, a major property owner of Miami’s wealthy island, won a $1.3 million judgment against its former chairman and two associates for trespassing at a mansion.
Following a trial, Miami-Dade County Circuit Judge Lourdes Simon ruled on April that Joseph Kay, Moshe Popack and Yaffa Yakubov improperly stayed at the home at 6921 Valencia Drive without paying rent to owner Fisher Island Holdings. Yakubov is Kay’s niece.
