University of Miami visitors no longer have to duck inside to charge their phones. Soon, they’ll be able to use the campus Soofa, a solar-powered bench outfitted with USB ports. “It makes no sense that we have valuable real estate in the public realm that, in the 21st century, isn’t connected to the Internet,” Soofa CEO Sandra Richter said.
