Carl Icahn jumps aboard Lyft with $100M investment

Activist investor Carl Icahn has invested $100 million in ride-sharing company Lyft Inc., the company said on Friday. The funding is part of a round announced in March that values the San Francisco company at $2.5 billion. The company also said it got an additional $50 million from another source it didn't name. Icahn told the Wall Street Journal that he isn't afraid of Lyft's much more highly valued competitor, Uber, which is estimated by private investors these days to be worth between $41 billion…
