Chiquita Brands International Inc. (NYSE: CQB) is moving the headquarters of its banana division to Fort Lauderdale and its Fresh Express division to the Orlando area.
The move brings about 200 jobs to Florida, which will be split between the two locations. It puts the company closer to one of its largest customers, Walt Disney World, as well as shipping lanes via Port Everglades.
